As a researcher, educator, and person who deeply values equality, I have thought a great deal about the ways I can promote diversity across all aspects of my life. I found that I am most efficacious in my contributions to diversity and inclusion when I recruit diverse perspectives. As such, I seek diverse perspectives to enhance my classroom, my lab, and my research.
